(Lakewood, Colo. – Oct. 20, 2016) Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) announced today that it has selected Fransen Pittman Construction Co., Inc., to provide general contractor services for the 2017 Columbine Library remodel project.
Under terms of the contract, Fransen Pittman will assist JCPL with:
- pre-construction cost estimates and value engineering
- design and construction documents
- project budgeting and scheduling
- construction and general contractor services
- quality control and assurance
- cost control and reporting
- commissioning, testing and start-up
- occupancy Construction services
- site clean-up and maintenance

Fransen Pittman was selected through a competitive bidding process launched by the Library in September. Eleven firms responded to JCPL’s Request for Proposals; firms were evaluated based on price, ability to meet JCPL’s needs, experience and references.
